In my opinion, Excel is an Integral part of every Business small or big. A good grasp of knowledge in this software can help you understand and analyse stats in your company. This software can help you turn simple Raw Data into a Readable and Understandable Report. It also makes your work a lot easier if you have a bit of knowledge in Visual Basic and its relation with Excel.
I personally use Excel in my full-time job as a Senior Specialist in Reporting. In fact, this is the only software we use to make reports. Basically, I gather data from different paths, collate them in one excel workbook, create formulas and combine all the data in one sheet. In doing these things, I will be able to use a new workbook that will use the data I combined, to create Reports that will be useful for analysis.
